United by an appreciation for timeless design and a considered use of colour and form, Cheryl Sanders and Artemis Vacalopoulos founded their design studio in 2022.

The duo’s holistic approach results in schemes that feel comfortable, inviting and, above all, deeply representative of their clients’ personal tastes and values.

Graduates from KLC and Inchbald respectively, Anglo-Peruvian Cheryl and Brussels-based Artemis have a European sensibility, underpinned by a love of history, craftsmanship and spaces that promote wellbeing on a profound level.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Our aim is to straddle past and present with poise – turning to craftspeople, ancient architecture, history and art for inspiration, while creating spaces that speak to the moment through considered colour palettes and effortless function.

Environmental awareness is a core value – we find ways to reuse, remake and restore, while being endlessly curious about the possibilities offered by new materials.

We try to eschew trends; we put wellbeing at the centre of our work, designing spaces that support mind, body and soul, thanks to a rigorous approach to form, utility and materiality that puts our clients’ lifestyle front and centre. Above all, our schemes strike an easy balance between innovation and time-honoured design.
